Changes and Enhancements to this Teacher Resources Website
tons of effort and time, I have finally finished! And, as I promised on March 23, what follows
is a brief synopsis of what has been accomplished.
critical enhancements at DailyTeachingTools.com involved…
the entire site to https (the secure form of http).
the necessary changes to insure GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)
compliance for all pages.
all Macromedia Flash content and replacing it with animated gif’s (to insure
for any visitors who wish to read it.
important enhancements at this website involved…
all graphic images from fixed height and width to 100% of available space (see
the visitor experience on a variety of devices, including smart phones running
iOS as well as Android.
- Adjustments were
made to insure that the content is accessible in both vertical and horizontal
and presentation enhancements involved…
a new layout for the entire site. I
moved one narrow column from the right side of the content area to the right
side of the navigation buttons on the left side of the content area.
- adding 3
new teachers and several new kids to the header of the site.
the text appearing in the header of the site.
the appearance of navigation buttons and headers.
27 navigation buttons to make browsing easier (all of the content remains and
is accessible through strategically placed text links).
links on all products for purchase to teachers who wish to place orders outside
of the USA.
can well imagine, making sure all of the above was accomplished on all 122
pages of DailyTeachingTools.com was an enormous and time-consuming
process. But, it’s done. It’s finally done.
