Teaching Q=It? Or something like that? Get pupils to use the definition of current to work out basic problems.
For example, 'If 2C of charge passes a point in 2's then what is the current?' The pupils write their answers on show me boards so you can quickly cover a number of questions getting progressively harder.
They still don't know the equation. So eventually you ask them what math they did to get their answers. They should write down current = charge / time!!
They've worked out the equation for themselves.
