Letter of Introduction

by Val Mackinnon
(Summerside, P.E.I., Canada)

During the last week of school have each class compile a letter to the class coming up next year.

Make an outline of what they did each month and the most favorite part of the year they liked. Maybe they could record their favorite day or something.

Then, you read the letter the first day of the new school year to your new students.

Good idea.

Next year I think I will try this with my students. It might be a good way to end one year and then begin a new one.
